Veterinarian

Dr. Thomas is the founder and primary veterinarian of CHVC. He graduated from Assam Agricultural University in India and has been practicing since 2003. He has spent many years working for rescue organizations in Philadelphia helping to spay and neuter hundreds of animals. He is very happy to realize his dream of having a practice with a good foundation of client education and quality pet care. Establishing a clientele that knows their pets will be treated like family by the staff of CHVC is an important aspect of his values. Dr. Thomas is a firm believer that an educated pet owner is the best pet owner!

Office Manager/Certified Veterinary Technician

Mary is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been in the veterinary field for the past twelve years. She is very excited to be a member of the Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital medical team. April has been in the veterinary field for about six years starting kennel work at the Conchester Animal Hospital. In 2010 she developed a strong passion for shelter medicine with her experience at ACCT Philly, where she also met Dr. Thomas. Over the past few years April has worked at The Pet Mechanic/Operation Ava no-kill rescue, and the PSPCA. She started at Caring Hands with Dr. Thomas in Dec. 2014. She will be starting school in Jan. 2016 to take prerequisites for Vet School. April is a huge advocate for rescue and adoption. She has 4 rescued pitbull mixes and 2 cats at home.

An aspiring veterinarian, Michael started at Caring Hands in March of 2016. In his spare time, Michael likes to travel and sing duets with his Doberman/Husky Mix Rufus.
